Glamour of the past: what comes to your mind when you hear this?
Maybe Hollywood beauties dressed up in furs? Exclusive living rooms with carpets made from tiger skin? Monarchs and nobility wearing ivory accessories?
That glamour is short-lived because its stolen glamour – and a responsible society should be past that.
I believe that we have to be mindful about our environment, always being aware of the infinite beauty that surrounds us, as well as the pain that our actions may cause to it. True glamour comes from within, it doesn’t require our earth’s precious beings to be murdered and abused as trophies and glamourious decorations.
Glanz der Vergangenheit: Was kommt dir in den Sinn, wenn du diesen Ausdruck hörst?
Vielleicht Hollywood Schönheiten in Pelzmänteln? Exklusive Wohnzimmer mit Teppichen aus Tiegerfell? Herrscher und Adlige mit Elfenbeinschmuck?
Dieser Glanz ist vergänglich, denn es ist geraubter Glanz – und eine verantwortungsvolle Gesellschaft sollte so etwas hinter sich gelassen haben.
Ich glaube, dass wir auf unsere Umwelt acht geben müssen, immer der unendlichen Schönheit bewusst, welche uns umgibt, sowie dem Leiden, den unser Handeln verursachen kann.
Wahrer Glanz kommt von Innen und bedarf keines Dahinschlachtens jener wertvollen Wesen unserer Erde, um sie als Trophäen und glamouröse Dekorationen zu missbrauchen
2. Platz und Veranstalterpreis Schwarzwald Bodypaintingfestival 2018

Am Wochenende gewann ich den 2. Platz und Veranstalterpreis beim Schwarzwald Bodypaintingfestival 2018 – Hierzu ein paar Impressionen

Thema: “Wald & Nachhaltigkeit”
Meine Interpretation: “Mehr Wald für unsere Kinder” auf zwei Arten:
1) den Wald zu schützen, damit die kommenden Generationen ihn in seiner Vielfalt noch erleben können wie wir ihn kennen. Wir haben nur diesen Planeten.
2) Nachhaltige Prägung des Bewusstseins unserer Kinder, dass der Wald ein Pol der Kraft und Erholung ist – wo man zu seinen Wurzeln der friedlichen Harmonie zurückkehren kann – fernab des stressigen , städitischen Alltags.

where we won 2nd place and the organizers price
topic was about “forest & sustainability”
“We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors,
we borrow it from our children”
My interpretation: ‘More forest for our children’ in two ways:
1) to protect the forest so the forthcoming generations can experience it . We just have this planet to live.
2) Sustainable shaping of the consciousness of our children that the forest is a pole of strength and recreation – where you can get back to your roots of peaceful harmony – far from your stressful urban daily life.
Dragon Headpiece Tutorial
Next week I will paint for an exhibtion of dragons. So my model needs to get transformed into a wild dragon of the castle
So here is the making of of my headpiece: 1 1/2 days of creation
Used Material:
wire, aluminium foil, paper tape, foam rubber, cotton pads, hot glue gun, latex , plastic nails, acrylicy, gold pigments, varnish
